Please make a donation to FB Foundation today! Donations to the Farm Bureau Foundation take many forms, but for a limited time only, contributors can receive one DCFB coffee mug for each $5.00 donated. Available for a $15.00 donation are a limited number of 1st Edition copies of the Illinois Farm Bureau’s “Farm Family Recipes” Cookbook, which will soon be out of print. Members can also exhibit their “Farm Bureau Pride” with a durable, metal Illinois Farm Bureau Member license plate holder for their car and/or truck by donating $8.00 for one or $15.00 for a pair. Supplies of all promotional items are limited. (Special Note: Contributions to the DuPage County Farm Bureau Foundation are charitable donations, and are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.) Donations must be made in person at the Farm Bureau office.

Farm Bureau Foundation and Ebersold Scholarships For the 19th year, the DuPage County Farm Bureau Foundation is making up to four scholarships available to qualifying high school seniors planning to attend college in the Fall of 2008, and study for an agriculture-related career. To be eligible, a student’s parents must be members in good standing of the DuPage County Farm Bureau (regular or associate members) for at least two years prior to January 1, 2008. Students must complete a four-page scholarship application which is available from high school academic advisors or from the Farm Bureau office in Carol Stream, (630) 668-8161. If you are a student planning a career related in some way to agriculture, you are encouraged to apply. Related studies may include such things as biological sciences, chemistry, animal industries, agronomy, engineering, economics, or a number of other academic majors. The deadline for the Foundation Scholarship is April 1st of each year.
Ebersold Scholarship
This year will mark the awarding of the 11th annual Ebersold Scholarship by the DuPage County Farm Bureau Foundation. The scholarship, created in memory of past president and longtime Farm Bureau leader, Ken F. Ebersold of Downers Grove, is awarded to a qualified college student who is pursuing a course of study related directly to agriculture and will be a sophomore, junior, or senior in the fall of 2008. To be eligible, a student=s parents must be members in good standing of the DuPage County Farm Bureau (either a regular or associate member) for at least two years prior to January 1, 2008. Students must also complete the required application and demonstrate successful progress toward achieving a college degree in an agriculture-related discipline. Free gun locks may be picked up, while they last at the Farm Bureau Office, 245 S. Gary Avenue, Carol Stream, IL. You must present your Illinois Firearm Owners Card to be eligible for this program.
